Ogden, Utah, May 2009 Ladies, The April showers are, indeed, bringing May flowers. We will be putting some of those May flowers on our May project, i.e. the tassel. Yes, I am happy to report that Hazel is well and ready to teach. If you did not sign up before, you now have a second chance; notify me no later than 7:01pm Monday, 3rd. Welcome to our new members: Karen Denning Loreen Sjoblom Helen Mahoney Penny Stratton Glenna Nielsen Betty VanPelt Donna Richards Rosanna Whetton Also a welcome back to these members: Ronilynn Jenkins Cheri Ringger Julie McFadden Carol Wilson Jan Pecharich Please introduce yourselves to one another and get know each other. Each one of you is very important to our Chapter. Don’t forget that next month is our Appreciation get-together. The Victorian Tea will be a peek into a more formal way of life. If you would like, feel free to wear a Victorian style hat and/or other apparel. With all the yard/garage sales that are popping out now, it should be easy to find a suitcase or other surface for Tirzah’s project. Below are some of her cute patterns or she will be glad to help you with your own pattern. Here is an opportunity to let your imagination run wild and have fun, fun, fun. Take care and see you soon, Rebecca/Becky/Reb |

  3. Medallion for base (may be purchased or hand made).
1. Good sharp scissors
2. Blue tape
  4. Compatible yarns or threads for the tassel (2 or 3 kinds).
They should be different textures and sizes. Each tassel will use between 5 - 10 yards
